Who We Are
The executive leadership of BioSRQ, Inc. each have more than 20 years of science, research, and or business experience. In addition, the core science team has been working in our labs for more than a decade.

Michael Mullan, M.D,PH.D
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Mullan has previously served as CEO or CSO of both publicly traded and private drug development companies including The Roskamp Institute which he co-founded in 2003.

Fiona Crawford, Ph.D
Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Crawford is from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and her Ph.D. training was in London, England, where she was a part of the team that identified the first Alzheimer’s mutations. Dr. Crawford has 20 years of experience in the field of research and development for Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Throughout her career, Dr. Crawford has received and managed numerous grants and contracts for neuroscience research.

Daniel Paris, Ph.D
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Paris is an expert in molecular and cellular inflammation. He has over 20 years of research experience in the development and testing of preclinical models of Alzheimer’s disease and other conditions. His research has focused on the identification of molecular targets involved in the induction of inflammatory pathways triggered by Alzheimer’s A peptides in the cerebrovasculature, neurons and glial cells and in treatment of this disorder.

Park Dodd
Executive Vice President
Mr. Dodd’s experience includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, financial planning, and IT management. He has served in various financial positions with KPMG, Philip Morris USA, Capital One Financial, Inc., Inc. and Tatum LLC., a national executive services firm specializing in providing interim senior financial leadership to organizations.

Benoit Mouzon, Ph.D
Vice President of Business Development
Dr. Benoit Mouzon ‘s primary goal is to use his extensive sales background and skills learned as a real estate project manager for the strategic expansion of BioSRQ. Dr. Mouzon holds a Bachelors in global management from the SKEMA business school (France), a Master Degree in Biotechnology from McGill University (Canada) and received a doctorate degree in neuroscience from the Open University (UK).

Corbin Bachmeier, Ph.D
Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Dr. Bachmeier received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Dakota. He earned a doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center specializing in drug transit across the blood-brain barrier. Dr. Bachmeier has over 10 years of experience studying the molecular basis of neurological disorders.

Laila Abdullah, Ph.D
Director of Lipodomics
Dr. Abdullah is the Director of Lipidomics Research with over 20 years of experience in translational research into neurodegenerative illnesses. Dr. Abdullah has a M.S. in Epidemiology from the University of London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Open University in UK.

Jim Evans
Director of Mass Spectrometry
James Evans was previously Director of the Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Core Facility at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Prior to that he was an Instructor in Neurology and Director of the Mass Spectrometry Core Facility at the Harvard University Medical School. He attended Charles Sweeley at Michigan State University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chao Jin, Ph.D
Director of Chemistry
Dr. Jin received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Chemistry from Nankai University and a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, Beijing. He earned a doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry from the University at Albany, State University of New York. Dr. Jin has 13 years of experience in chemical synthesis in the field of drug discovery.

Joseph Ojo, Ph.D
Director of Experimental Neuropathology
Dr. Ojo is an experimental neuropathologist and molecular biologist with several years of experience in characterizing a variety of preclinical models and autopsy cases of neurological and psychiatric diseases. I have been involved in investigating the behavioral, biochemical and neuropathological aspects of these animal models and correlating those with the human condition.

Scott Ferguson, Ph.D
Director of Neurological Behvaior
Dr. Scott Ferguson is an expert in neurobehavioral testing and assay development. Dr. Ferguson has 13 years of experience overseeing neurobehavioral assessments of learning, memory, motors skills and more in the context of various disease states. Additionally, he has applied his knowledge of programming and hardware design to develop novel tests of vision and sleep.

Michael Dreger
Administrative Project Manager
Mr. Dreger has a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida. While at UCF, he was a LEAD Scholar which taught him several effective ways of leading a diverse and knowledgeable group. As a Sarasota native who watched the growth of The Roskamp Institute, and subsequently BioSRQ, he is thrilled to be a member of the team and contribute to the growth of BioSRQ.
